Kits Beach Meetup - Rapeh Ceremony: Sacred Healing Ritual

  • Kitsilano Beach 2300 Cornwall Avenue Vancouver, BC, V6K 1B6 Canada (map)

Introducing Our Kits Beach Meetups

Every other Wednesday during the summer, we gather as a community at Kits Beach and invite local facilitators to join us in offering unique workshops with a different theme each week. Through these events, we seek to offer transformation, connection and peak experiences all while providing a container to connect with other like-minded people in the community.

For these events, you can expect everything from yoga and movement workshops to sound healing and introductory psychedelic exploration. We hope to provide a rich diversity of offerings all summer long!

Please register below if you would like to attend the facilitated portion of the event from 7:00-8:30pm. We meet on the grass area near Kitsilano Showboat (just behind Kitsilano Pool) and these events are weather dependent, so if it rains, we will postpone.

About This Week’s Meetup: Rapeh Ceremony: Sacred Healing Ritual

Immerse yourself in the profound healing journey of a Rapeh ceremony led by Jennifer Schwientek, a seasoned practitioner dedicated to holistic well-being. In this sacred gathering tailored for The Flying Sage community, Jennifer invites you to explore the transformative power of this indigenous Amazonian ritual, which involves the application of a sacred snuff made from Amazonian plants.

During the ceremony, Jennifer will create a safe and supportive space where you can release energetic blockages, deepen your connection to self and spirit, and experience profound physical and emotional detoxification. Drawing upon her expertise in shamanic practices and trauma-informed care, Jennifer will guide you through the ceremony with compassion and reverence, allowing you to access deep states of healing and spiritual insight.

Whether you seek emotional release, spiritual growth, or physical cleansing, the Rapeh ceremony offers a potent opportunity for self-discovery and transformation. Join us as we come together in community to honor ancient traditions and harness the healing energies of the Amazon rainforest. This ceremony is open to all members of The Flying Sage community who are ready to embark on a journey of healing, growth, and empowerment.

About This Week’s Facilitator: Jennifer Schwientek

Jennifer Schwientek, born and raised in Germany, is your guide on the holistic path to healing. With a multifaceted expertise encompassing professional counseling, certified health coaching, cuddle therapy, and certifications as a Kambo and Rapeh practitioner, along with being an Iboga microdosing guide, Jennifer reflects her commitment to providing comprehensive and integrative care.

Jennifer's approach is rooted in creating safe and nurturing spaces, guiding individuals on transformative journeys toward wholeness and self-discovery. In a world often dominated by quick fixes, her perspective offers a refreshing alternative.

She believes in bridging the gap between conventional medicine and holistic healing, acknowledging the limitations of mechanistic approaches driven by pharmaceutical interests. Instead, Jennifer integrates evidence-based techniques such as IFS (Internal Family Systems), Somatics, CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy), DBT (Dialectical Behavior Therapy), and NLP (Neuro-Linguistic Programming) with shamanic wisdom and the transformative power of Mother Earth's offerings and psychedelics.

Jennifer also incorporates inner child healing into her practice, recognizing the profound impact of childhood experiences on our present-day well-being.
