Cannabis Tea Ceremony

  • The Stretch Space 2188 York Avenue Vancouver, BC, V6K 3E7 Canada (map)

About This Event: Cannabis Tea Ceremony

We are excited to welcome you to a Cannabis Tea Ceremony Community Wellness Event hosted by the Flying Sage!

This event will be co-facilitated by Navin Sahjpaul (Music Therapist, BMT) and Chandni Sidhpura (Clinical Psychotherapist and Psychedelic Assisted Psychotherapist). Join Navin and Chandni for a traditional medicine ceremony rooted in ancient Indian practices dating back 4000+ years. This ceremonial blessing is to reach higher states of spiritual elevation, used by Yogi’s and Sadhu’s of ancient India. Utilizing live sound healing facilitated by Navin, and ancient ceremonial teachings and pranayama (breathwork) facilitated by Chandni.

With respect to Indian traditions, this is not a culturally appropriated ceremony. Navin and Chandni are both Indo-Canadian, of South Asian / Indian descent and are thus sharing these traditional teachings with the utmost respect to their culture.

This ceremony will include an intention circle, a traditional Indian medicine healing journey with pranayama, and a live sound meditation experience all in community. Leaving you feeling euphoric, grounded and connected to self. Please arrive having eaten a light meal earlier in the day (limit heavy food 4hrs before ceremony).

Disclaimer: effects of ingesting cannabis lasts longer than smoking, please hold this in mind when arranging your transportation home.

Please note that we are utilizing very small doses as the ceremony is about being intentional with our cannabis use and exploring the depths of what we can reach with a low-dose.

The ceremony space is also about cultivating a healthy, intentional relationship with cannabis use, focusing on how we can use it for inner healing, growth, development, and exploration.

If you have any other questions about this event please do not hesitate to reach out. We look forward to having you there!
