Psychedelic Botany Expansion Seminar – Ancient Wisdom, Modern Practice

  • Nemesis Coffee 555 Great Northern Way Vancouver, BC, V5T 1E1 Canada (map)

Join us for our next Expansion Seminar with World-Renowned Plant Expert Dr. Ivan Casselman

About This Event:

Since there have been humans, we have sought to understand the world around us, not only exploring the natural realms but also seeking to understand the inner workings of the human psyche. Along the way, we discovered that with certain plant teachers, we could throw open our doors to perception and dive deep into our consciousness. Connecting with worlds unseen and expanding our understanding of ourselves, our community and our environment.

Psychedelic plants have contributed and continue to contribute to the development of our species, and learnings from these plants are infused into the fabric of our society.

How do we deepen our understanding of these plants?

In a modern context, how do we translate traditional knowledge and ensure the preservation of the natural ecosystems in which these plants thrive?

How do we establish global acceptance and leverage the healing these plant can bring to our species?

This Expansion Seminar will seek to deepen our plant knowledge. We will discuss traditional practices, ecology, botany, chemistry and how modern technology has the potential to expand access to psychedelic plants.

To understand the psychedelic experience is to understand the source... the plants producing the extraordinary compounds that evoke these experiences. These plants have always spoken to us. However, they speak in soft voices, so we must listen carefully. In modern times, we often do not take the time to stop, be present, and listen to what these teachers are saying. Now, more than ever, we must listen. We must empower these plants to help heal the world.

Join The Flying Sage and Dr. Ivan Casselman for a compelling discussion about all things psychedelic botany. After the talk, we will have a Q/A period facilitated by House Of Origins Apothecary. We will then move to the rare plant sale and social portion of the event. 🌱🌱

7:15 - 8:00pm - Seminar

8:00 - 8:15pm - Q/A Period
