This ceremony is a welcoming space for both newcomers and seasoned practitioners, offering a unique experience of tranquility and inner peace with the option to enhance your experience with a microdose of Huachuma.
In the fast pace of modern life, it’s easy to lose sight of the simple yet profound joy of being present in our own bodies and hearts. This Valentine’s Day, whether you’re single, partnered, or seeking deeper self-love, this event is a chance to prioritize what truly matters: your well-being, connection to self, and a renewed sense of inner peace.
Who Is This Event For?
This event is for anyone that is seeking to deepen their mind-body connection through breathwork. Unlike our smaller member-focussed events, this breathwork ceremony is geared towards people who are new to The Flying Sage community and who want to dip their toes into what we have to offer. If you are new to The Flying Sage, this is a great place to start. If you are new to breathwork, this event is also a great option.
If you are more experienced with breathwork, we encourage you to check out our bi-weekly Huachuma Breathwork events which are smaller and more intimate.
What is Huachuma (San Pedro)?
Huachuma, also known as San Pedro, is a psychoactive cactus native to the Andes Mountains in South America. It has been used for centuries by indigenous peoples in the region for its psychoactive and shamanic properties. Huachuma contains mescaline, a naturally occurring psychedelic compound, and is traditionally consumed in ceremonial rituals to facilitate spiritual insights, emotional healing, and personal growth.
It is revered for its ability to induce altered states of consciousness, leading to vivid visual experiences and profound introspection, making it a powerful tool for self-discovery, healing, and connecting with the spiritual world.
Where Is It Sourced?
We are grateful to Dose Osmosis for sponsoring these events. Their Osmosis San Pedro (Trichocereus pachanoi) powder is sourced from a group of families that work in community to grow and harvest this medicine. These families plant these medicines on a small and medium scale as they are far and few from their environment. For this reason, the products they offer are grown in gardens, in small plots. They are organically grown with care near their natural regions. This also reduces wild harvesting, supporting the natural reserves of this sacred plant, something of utmost importance to us.
For the above mentioned reasons Dose Osmosis consciously offers the medicine to ensure the continuity processes and to preserve the natural balance of the cactus.

Safety:
Nothing here is intended as medical advice. The microdose offered at this event is completely optional as well. If you are someone sensitive to altered states or substances in general, we encourage you to avoid driving to and from the event. We encourage you to be on an empty stomach for events if you intend to consume a microdose. Extra caution should be taken when microdosing by pregnant or breastfeeding women and should be avoided by anyone prone to seizures, heart problems, blood pressure problems, or mental health issues such as bipolar, schizophrenia or severe anxiety.
