About This Event: Kanna Breathwork Ceremony

Welcome to our first Kanna Breathwork Ceremony, guided by Lana Pribic—an ICF Professional Coach, co-founder of Kanna Wellness, and host of the Modern Psychedelics Podcast—alongside breathwork facilitator Alejandro Giraldo.

Taking place in a sacred space, this ceremony combines gentle breathwork, education, and meditation to guide participants into states of inner clarity and grounded connection. Lana and Alejandro’s facilitation will allow you to experience Kanna’s effects, inviting relaxation and introspection.

Ethically sourced Kanna from Kanna Wellness will be available, providing a natural, traditional means of enhancing mood and alleviating stress. Participants will receive a microdose, allowing for a light, supportive presence throughout the ceremony.

Kanna Wellness, founded by Lana and her mother, Bahra Pribic, is dedicated to sharing the benefits of this plant with the community. Their Kanna is sustainably sourced in line with South Africa’s Bioprospecting Access and Benefit Sharing (BABS) regulations, respecting indigenous knowledge and practices.

What is Kanna?

Kanna is a traditional South African herb that has been used by indigenous communities for centuries to enhance mood and reduce stress. Known for its gentle, heart-opening qualities, Kanna allows individuals to feel more connected and calm while fostering a deeper awareness of self. Kanna Wellness provides high-quality, responsibly sourced Kanna that you can feel good about, knowing it supports both well-being and sustainable practices.

This breathwork ceremony is crafted to allow each participant to experience the natural benefits of Kanna in a safe, grounded environment, with or without the use of plant medicine. The Kanna microdose is optional, and the breathwork journey itself will provide a deeply nourishing experience. Whether you are new to Kanna or exploring it more deeply, this event will offer valuable insights into the power of plant medicine and breathwork in fostering inner transformation.

Safety:

Nothing here is intended as medical advice. The microdose offered at this event is completely optional as well. If you are someone sensitive to altered states or substances in general, we encourage you to avoid driving to and from the event. We encourage you to be on an empty stomach for events if you intend to consume a microdose. Extra caution should be taken when microdosing by pregnant or breastfeeding women and should be avoided by anyone prone to seizures, heart problems, blood pressure problems, or mental health issues such as bipolar, schizophrenia or severe anxiety.
