Kits Beach Meetup - GANJA YOGA

  • Kitsilano Beach 2300 Cornwall Ave V6K 1B6 Canada (map)

Introducing Our Kits Beach Meetups

We gather as a community at Kits Beach and invite local facilitators to join us in offering unique workshops with a different theme each week. Through these events, we seek to offer transformation, connection and peak experiences all while providing a container to connect with other like-minded people in the community.

For these events, you can expect everything from yoga and movement workshops to sound healing and introductory psychedelic exploration. We hope to provide a rich diversity of offerings all summer long!

Please register below if you would like to attend the facilitated portion of the event from 7:00-8:30pm. We meet on the grass area near Kitsilano Showboat (just behind Kitsilano Pool) and these events are weather dependent, so if it rains, we will postpone.

About This Week’s Meetup: GANJA YOGA

Ganja Yoga will incorporate cannabis with a yoga practice at Kitsilano beach. This workshop will include intention setting, a traditional yoga class, guided meditation, and integration circle, all in community. Leaving you feeling euphoric, grounded and connected to self.

This event is about cultivating a healthy, intentional relationship with cannabis use, focusing on how we can use it for inner healing, growth, development, and exploration. We are utilizing small doses as the ceremony is about being intentional with our cannabis use and exploring the depths of what we can reach with a low-dose.

Cannabis use is optional as we also welcome people who are interested in attending but want to opt out of cannabis digestion.

Please arrive having eaten a light meal earlier in the day (limit heavy food 1-2 hrs before).

Chandni Sidhpura

Chandni teaches Kundalini yoga and Kundalini breathwork. This is a traditional yoga practice known as the yoga of consciousness and rests firmly in the realm of spirituality. This dates back to teachings in the vedic texts from over 1000 BC and was introduced to the west in the 1960’s.This form of yoga involves chanting, meditation, breathing, and postures specific to activate your Kundalini energy which sits at the base of your spine.

Through this practice you can awaken your body’s innate healing intelligence (Kundalini energy) to move through your chakras. As your Kundalini energy rises, it brings balance to your life and spirit. With regular practice, it can contribute to your spiritual wellness by improving your mind-body-spirit connection. Chandni has been practicing this form of yoga since childhood, as taught to her by her mother, and completed her teacher training program in 2012.

Chandni is dedicated to expanding consciousness and transcendence using traditional Eastern healing, plant medicines, and energy work. With a lineage of yogis and healers, she honors her Indian heritage through ceremonial teachings. Chandni guides tea ceremonies with chanting, mantra, kundalini awakening, and pranayama, blending cultural roots with clinical psychology. A Kundalini Energy & Chakra Healer, she helps clients process emotions and energetic blocks. Trained in Spinal Energetics and KRI yoga, Chandni has been a Clinical Psychotherapist since 2014, specializing in anxiety, depression, and PTSD. Founder of @TheTherapeuticCentre and facilitator of @WoMoonCircles, she is also a TheraPsil certified Psychedelic Assisted Psychotherapist.
