Introducing Our Kits Meetups
Our Kits Meetups are one of our longest standing events with The Flying Sage. For each of these events, we like to invite new and local facilitators to lead unique workshops designed to inspire transformation, connection, and peak experiences. The focus here is on diversity of experience so you can expect something different each time!
Each week, we invite local facilitators to lead us through unique workshops designed to inspire transformation, foster deep connections, and create peak experiences. These events are more than just workshops though—they're opportunities to meet and bond with like-minded individuals, all within a supportive and vibrant community.
Join us as we explore new ideas, expand our horizons, and connect with others on this journey of growth and discovery. We can't wait to see you there!
About This Week’s Meetup: All My Relations
All My Relations is a calling in to explore our relation with the colonization of turtle island and our roles in reintegrating indigenous ways back into modern society.
We will begin with a short meditation to ground and ignite the remembrance that we are not separate from the land, but we are the land. In rooting ourselves in this truth we are guided back to the understanding that we all deeply connected to one another. We are all relations. We all each carry sacred gifts within ourselves that give us the ability to create change.
Guided by Anishinaabe value systems we will weave each others knowledge and experience together to create actionable change via community building and wellness practices. Through exploration of nationally vs. ancestral identity, listening and telling of truths, sharing our authentic gifts we will leave inspired not only to celebrate the medicine we carry within our selves but to spread the seeds of this medicine within every being we meet.
Safety:
Nothing here is intended as medical advice. The microdose offered at this event is completely optional as well. About This Week’s Facilitator:
Sarah-Anne Tourond
Sarah-Anne Tourond is an Anishinaabe and Red River Métis woman claimed by Gambler First Nation in Treaty 4. She is an award-nominated children’s author and illustrator, public speaker, and wellness facilitator.
Though she wears many hats, her mission remains the same: to teach people how to care for their whole selves—body, mind, emotions, and spirit—so that we may better care for one another and the Earth. Through her work within Indigenous communities, she channels grief into a movement of self-worth, community care, and progressive change grounded in Indigenous teachings.
Sarah-Anne strives to bridge the gap between Indigenous and non-Indigenous people, helping colonial society remember that we are not separate from the land—we are the land. Her holistic wellness approach incorporates yoga, meditation, and ancestral Indigenous practices to help others access the medicine they carry within themselves.
Join us for this powerful session as we reawaken our connections, embrace our gifts, and walk forward together.
