A Breathwork & Conscious Dance Designed to Facilitate Your Full Expression.
About This Event:
The Flying Sage and Crossing Worlds are excited to be collaborating to bring you Lumio. This is your invitation to a conscious dance experience where freedom, presence and embodiment take center stage. This is a dance designed to facilitate your full expression.
A great alcohol-free alternative to a night out, we’ve crafted this special event to be like a mini-festival in one evening!
The event starts with a grounding breathwork ceremony for those that would like to attend earlier.
After this, we transition to two ecstatic dance sets followed by a soothing and relaxing sound bath to end the night.
In the heart of this experience lies a simple but profound ethos: Freedom. Leave judgments at the door as you step into a world of full expression. To achieve this, we have a few simple rules that we ask everyone to follow on the dance floor. These are inspired by Ecstatic Dance LA but are modified slightly in that we welcome safe, conscious and intentional use of medicine.
BE FREE. DANCE HOW YOU WANT. NO JUDGEMENT.
BE PRESENT. NO PHONES. NO CAMERAS.
BE CLEAR. NO ALCOHOL. MINDFUL MEDICINE CONSUMPTION.
BE EMBODIED. NO TALKING.
BE CONSENSUAL. IF IT’S NOT A CLEAR YES, IT’S A NO.
These rules mostly just apply to the dance-floor and there is plenty of other spaces to explore and socialize. By sharing in these agreements together, our dance floor can become a canvas for embodiment, allowing us all to dive deep into the music, rhythm and our own inner space.
Lumio is a collective vision that we are co-creating together. It's where the wisdom of expanded states merges with the power of dance and community.
Come, let's let loose, let's transcend, and let's dance together.

Days Of Lavender (Soundbath)
Days of Lavender is a Vancouver-based electronic duo creating genre-bending contemplative music. Over the last two years, Stephen Clarke (Ableton PUSH, bass), and Daniela Mae (vocals) have made a name for themselves in the Vancouver music scene by starting an event series called InnerSpace which brought together breathwork, yoga and sound healing sessions with visual and performing arts.
They released their first EP 'Mary's Garden' in May 2023, and are currently working on their full length album in collaboration with artists such as Noble Oak, Forrest Mortifee, Jacob Weil and Jonah Ocean. Their mission is increasingly to create spaces for self-reflection, connection and healing through music.
