About This Event: Ascension

The Flying Sage is excited to be partnering with the Cosmic Otter Orchestra to bring you a new monthly offering. This unique experience will include a facilitated candlelit walking meditation practice on a 13-metre hardwood Labyrinth, backdropped by immersive nature sounds. After walking the Labyrinth, we’ll gather in a circle for a unique sound experience combining elements of guided meditation, sound bath, and field recordings collected around British Columbia. The circle will then close with an open mic for poetry sharing.

6:30pm - Arrivals, Facilitated walking meditation on the Labyrinth

7:30pm - Transition to circle for guided meditation sound experience

9:00pm - Poetry sharing

9:30pm - Close

Relax, reflect, share, and surrender to nature's symphony of sounds.

About Your Facilitator:

Brendon Campbell

Brendon first connected with The Flying Sage in 2020 when he led a team of volunteers as the producer and editor of the first season of the MAPS Canada podcast, which was published throughout 2021. He also played a key role in launching the Flying Sage Podcast in 2022. Brendon is a Vipassana meditator and has completed The Dharmacist's Toad School course.
