Bicycle Day - Magical City Tour

  • Kitsilano Beach 1499 Arbutus Street Vancouver, BC, V6J 5N2 Canada (map)

POSTPONED: A Bicycle Day Event Honouring LSD & Psychedelic Research.

This event has been postponed. Please stay tuned for future updates.

Every year on April 19th, Bicycle Day celebrates the synthesis of one of the worlds most powerful and magical substances, LSD. In celebration of this momentous day, we are excited to offer our first Magical City Tour which will also serve as a fundraiser for MAPS Canada; a non-profit dedicated to supporting equitable access to legal and regulated psychedelic medicine for all Canadians. 50% of all proceeds from this event will be donated to MAPS Canada to support legalizing psychedelics through evidence based research and advocacy.

This event is open to anyone and you are allowed to join at any point along the journey. Participants will be encouraged to ride at their own pace, with breaks for photos, rest and taking in awe. We will start with an opening ceremony at Kitsilano Beach at 1:00pm (adjusted because of weather) where we invite everyone to show up with their bicycles, a friend and some snacks to keep you fueled for the day. From here, we will leave as a group together from Kits Beach and head towards Stanley Park. After doing a lazy lap around the sea-wall we will aim to re-convene back at Kitsilano Beach to say farewell.

Please see below for the full schedule as well as details on how to apply! If you would like to learn more about Bicycle Day, we invite you to read this article.
