How Psychedelics Can Help Save the World: Visionary and Indigenous Voices Speak Out

About This Event:

We are excited to be partnering with our friends at Conscious Living Network to share this upcoming event that will be celebrating the launch of Stephen Gray & Julie Holland’s book How Psychedelics Can Save The World with a cannabis ceremony and dance.

Contributors to this book include many leaders in the psychedelic space such as Jamie Wheal, Zoe Helene, Chris Bache, Grandmother Maria Alice Campos Freire, Dennis McKenna, Belinda Eriacho, Bruce Damer, Martina Hoffmann, Wade Davis and over a dozen more visionaries from a wide range of backgrounds.

This event will feature live music from renowned facilitators Shine and Curtis Andrews as well as a small presentation from Dennis McKenna.

10% of proceeds from this event will be offered to the Amazonia Yurahu Alliance, which is fundraising to preserve the language, culture, and ancient plant medicine of the Yawanawa people of the Amazon rainforest in Brazil. The plant knowledge these people carry is an oral traditional knowledge, one of the planet's most rare and precious gifts to humanity, and essential for our future.

extra information:

Complimentary pre-rolls to share will be available and you're welcome to bring your own cannabis. If you prefer to go the orally ingested route, please take that around 6:30 so we all arrive in sacred space around the same time.

what to bring:

Water bottle, lighter or matches, small plastic bag or container for leftover joints (they're King size), and perhaps a seat pad to sit on
