Integration Circle #41 - Chris Rambaran

  • Qi Integrated Health 1764 West 7th Avenue Vancouver, BC, V6J Canada (map)

About Our Integration Circles:
Hello Flying Sage,

Psychedelics are great tools for exploring consciousness and furthering our self-understanding. These experiences can be some of the most potent in our life and require some time to weave back into our model of the world and how we see ourselves in it. No matter how "good" or "bad" these experiences can be, they are most transformative when we take the time to reflect and integrate them together.

The Flying Sage is welcoming you to join us at our next Psychedelic Integration Circle. This will be a space where you can come share your experiences in a safe, intentional and supportive setting.

Before attending our circle, please make sure you have read our Integration Circle Agreements here.

About Our Special Guest Facilitator: Chris Rambaran

Chris is a registered social worker specializing in working with individuals and families in the areas of trauma, neurodiversity, mental health and addictions. He is a facilitator at Qi in the Ketamine-Assisted Therapy program. His lived experience with adversity and resilience led him to be in service and have taught him that individual healing is fundamental for collective healing.

Chris has a Bachelor of Social Work and is completing a Master of Social Work at the University of British Columbia. He is trained in motivational interviewing, Psychedelic-Assisted Therapy (TheraPsil), and utilizes tenets from narrative and internal family systems therapy. He integrates an attachment and strength-based lens with a person-centered and trauma-informed approach to his practice.

Chris approaches his own inner work as an ongoing ethical duty of care to his practice. He aims to bring warmth and compassion to co-create the conditions with others to access their own innate wholeness and capacity to heal. Viewing each being as a constellation of interdependent systems that are interacting with the broader environment, he believes that change does not happen in isolation. Chris works from a relational approach to build a foundation for trust and safety, along with a profound respect for medicine as an adjunct to the therapeutic process. Clients can expect Chris to bring a grounded presence with the goal to be someone with whom they can feel safe, seen and accepted.

Chris is a vipassana meditator and martial artist with a deep curiosity for the intersections between psychedelics, western science, eastern philosophies and Indigenous ways of knowing.
