We’re Joining Forces with the Vancouver Psychedelic Society
The Flying Sage is thrilled to be stepping into Fall with some exciting developments and partnerships. To kick things off this September, we are coming together to celebrate our joining forces with the Vancouver Psychedelic Society (VPS).
The VPS was started in 2019 by Kristof Lenart as a community hub for people interested discussing many topics related to psychedelics. Since then, they have hosted numerous seminars and meetups over the last few years brining together many psychedelic minded people together in Vancouver and beyond.
Teams from The Flying Sage and the Vancouver Psychedelic Society have come together and decided it would be fruitful to streamline our efforts and join forces as one single organization. The intention is to bring a lot of the Vancouver psychedelic events together under one umbrella and to have a strong presence on the global stage in which Vancouver is a pioneering city. We are now one and the same.
In addition to celebrating this collaboration, we also wanted to take time to celebrate launching our new Community Leader Program and our new weekly and monthly event offerings. UBC Psychedelic Society will also be present to share more about the awesome work they are doing as well. Come celebrate and connect with the largest psychedelic communities in Vancouver. We look forward to seeing you there!
About This Event:
This free event will be a casual drop in for anyone interested in learning more about psychedelic community in Vancouver. We will be offering food and drink and will have a variety of prizes to give away. This will be a perfect opportunity to connect with people in Vancouver looking to utilize psychedelics intentionally.
We will be set up around 1:00pm on the grass opposite Local.

6:00pm - Wrap Up
We intend to have spike-ball, slack-line and bean-bag toss set up for those that would like, as well as some groovy tunes to keep the good vibes going.

About The Flying Sage
The Flying Sage is a psychedelic community on a mission to democratize transcendence. They started in 2019 as an apparel brand and have since shifted their focus towards community building in Vancouver and beyond. The Flying Sage has hosted over 100 events in Vancouver including cold plunges, cannabis ceremonies, breathwork ceremonies, integration circles and seminars.
About The Vancouver Psychedelic Society (VPS)
The VPS started in 2019 as a community hub for people interested discussing many topics related to psychedelics. These areas included the societal and personal implications of psychedelic consumption, the history of their use, relevance in today's culture and to the health sector, recent legal and social developments, personal experiences, policy reform, contemporary research, the stigma surrounding use, and so on.

The UBC Psychedelic Society (aka UBC Psychedelic Community) is a group of passionate individuals who recognize the ability of psychedelic substances to facilitate altered states of consciousness that are invaluable for therapy and personal growth, as well as for enriching many fields of scientific and intellectual inquiry. We would like to promote an unbiased, fact-based discussion of these substances centered around their application to areas such as psychiatry, clinical psychology, neuroscience, philosophy, and sociology, and aim to help further the evident 21st century Psychedelic Renaissance.
