The Vancouver Psychedelic Society (also known as The Flying Sage) is excited to host you for another outdoor summer social. These free events are aimed at introducing you to the rich and vibrant psychedelic community that Vancouver has to offer.
This one coincides with the Celebration of Light so come enjoy the fireworks with us!
This free event will be a casual drop in for anyone interested in learning more about psychedelic community in Vancouver and we are delighted to be partnered with MAPS Canada and The UBC Psychedelic Society who will also have their community present to share in the fun.
Whether you are new to the psychedelic ecosystem in Vancouver or a seasoned veteran, this will be a perfect opportunity to connect with likeminded people in Vancouver.

The Vancouver Psychedelic Society (AKA The Flying Sage)
The Flying Sage is a psychedelic community on a mission to democratize transcendence. They started in 2019 as an apparel brand and have since shifted their focus towards community building in Vancouver and beyond. The Flying Sage has hosted over 260 events in Vancouver including cold plunges, cannabis ceremonies, breathwork ceremonies, integration circles and seminars. In 2023, they merged with The Vancouver Psychedelic Society (VPS) which was another psychedelic community offering in-person events in the city.
The VPS started in 2019 as a community hub for people interested discussing many topics related to psychedelics. These areas included the societal and personal implications of psychedelic consumption, the history of their use, relevance in today's culture and to the health sector, recent legal and social developments, personal experiences, policy reform, contemporary research, the stigma surrounding use, and so on.
MAPS Canada
Working with partners in government, business, and the community, Multidisciplinary Association for Psychedelic Studies (MAPS) Canada, is committed to advancing psychedelic medicine by supporting scientific, multidisciplinary research; advocating for drug policy reform; offering public education; and supporting equitable access to legal and regulated psychedelic medicine in Canada.
The UBC Psychedelic Society
The UBC Psychedelic Society (aka UBC Psychedelic Community) is a group of passionate individuals who recognize the ability of psychedelic substances to facilitate altered states of consciousness that are invaluable for therapy and personal growth, as well as for enriching many fields of scientific and intellectual inquiry.
We would like to promote an unbiased, fact-based discussion of these substances centered around their application to areas such as psychiatry, clinical psychology, neuroscience, philosophy, and sociology, and aim to help further the evident 21st century Psychedelic Renaissance.
